A tool for highlighting and sharing text fragments

Pith.li calls itself the yellow marker for the digital age. Calling itself a yellow marker refers to how students use markers (highlighting pens) to highlight important sections in their books and notes. The tool allows you to look through text and highlight the sections that you think are important. You are then able to share that text with the tool, and you can do it with just a few clicks. You don’t have to open up a social media profile in order to share the text fragment, you simply highlight the text and then click the sharing options. It is a little similar to how you are able to share content on Google+ or Twitter. View full description

PROS
